2. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA; the servers are located in Frankfurt am Main. When the website is accessed, technically necessary data (IP address, time, page accessed, browser) is processed in order to deliver the website and protect it against misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Product images are delivered by our own server; your browser does not connect to any third party to load them. A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; for transfers to the USA, Vercel relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

3. Customer account and orders

For a trade account, we process the company name, contact person, email address, phone number, address, VAT identification number and, where applicable, your proof of business registration; for orders, we additionally process the delivery address and order data (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). The data is stored in a database operated by Neon Inc. in Frankfurt am Main (processing on our behalf). To fulfil the order, we pass the items, quantities and delivery address on to our supplier in the EU, which ships the goods directly to you. We retain commercial and tax records for up to ten years.

You sign in with a one-time code sent by email. For this purpose, a technically necessary session cookie is set (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Verification of the VAT identification number

To check whether we may make a tax-exempt intra-Community supply, we query your VAT identification number together with your company name and address in the VAT Information Exchange System (VIES) of the European Commission and store the result as evidence (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

5. Email

We send emails (sign-in code, order confirmation, shipping information) via Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) as our processor.

6. Cookies, statistics and marketing (only with consent)

Without your consent, we do not load any services from Google or Meta. With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG), we use:

7. WhatsApp and Messenger

The buttons “Ask for a price on WhatsApp” and “Ask on Messenger” are simple links. Only when you click on them does WhatsApp or Messenger (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) open, and their privacy policies apply. We reply to your message in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and may withdraw any consent you have given at any time. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
